Testimonials
“My do-it-yourself approach was unsuccessful, which was why I reached out to Tepper Nutrition. Emma's knowledge, careful listening, and supportiveness was key to improving my health” SW
“My experience with Tepper Nutrition was great. I had recently slid back into some restrictive eating behaviors, and Emma helped me get back on track. She took time to create a personalized plan for me and would explain the science behind her recommendations, which helped me realize the importance of meeting my nutritional needs. Emma was constructive, and kind, and really helped me get to a place where I feel comfortable and capable of meeting my needs independently.” EB
“I'm very happy how Emma guided me, and supported me, through the low fodmap protocol while providing a meal plan outline that worked with my plant based diet. Thanks much!” TH
“Loved working with Emma as she showed me how to balance meals for health sake.”
“Emma is not only a highly competent nutritionist and dietitian, but is also kind and compassionate and truly cares for her clients. This made all the difference for me when she provided nutritional guidance while I was pregnant. I learned so much from her about proper eating schedules and how nutritional needs vary in pregnancy. Thank you, Emma!”
“Working with Emma was refreshing and provided the space I needed to explore my emotions around food. I got support and knowledge to help me move forward and begin eating intuitively.”
“I started with Tepper Nutrition because I was feeling stuck in my nutrition/hydration habits, had low energy for my athletic goals, and felt pushed that medication was the only option in managing PCOS related symptoms. Working with Emma has been wonderful! She is very personable and created an individualized plan that was specific and attainable with my work schedule and athletic goals. I never felt like I had to give up certain foods, but she worked with me in how to make more well-rounded choices. I feel more capable and confident in how to fuel my body for daily needs and sport related goals. Wish I had come to Tepper Nutrition sooner!!” EM
“Emma is fantastic- she builds rapport seamlessly, made me feel incredibly comfortable talking about something so hard, and kept me motivated even when it felt so difficult to keep going” BS
“When I first was diagnosed with Celiac Disease I knew I couldn’t rely on the internet for answers. I wanted a professional to guide me. Emma was not only that professional but she also had personal experience with the subject. Just what I needed and wanted. Emma provided professional clinical insight well balanced with her personal experience. After the first session, I knew I had someone to turn for my questions, fears and anxiety. I didn’t know what I didn’t know. But Emma did.” MR
“Emma met me where I was at in my eating disorder recovery. She let me take it at my pace and we creatively worked on implementing tools to help me fuel well. As I was healing, she supported me as I resumed working toward my running goals and was able to bring in her expertise with sports nutrition to our time together. She reviewed information with me until I felt comfortable with it. She really helped me feel less lonely at my lowest points in my recovery and celebrated the high points.” ML
“I cannot speak highly enough about Emma. In the past year that I have worked with her, she has reshaped the way I think about my eating habits, my health, and myself. Emma is exceedingly supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. I found myself learning so much during our sessions, both about nutrition broadly but also about myself given Emma's kind and encouraging opportunities for self reflection.” MQ
“Food issues can leave with a feeling of vulnerability, since a lot of times these issues are stigmatized as well as misunderstood by so many. When you come to a dietician, it's important that they listen and understand the issues of the individual with a great sense of compassion without trying to push any supplements or packaged food items on the client. Working with Emma is always a pleasure, since I know she is listening and she will also give me a different perspective on what might be going on with my food journey.” HS
“Emma and the Tepper team were so wonderful and helpful. My initial call was with Allison and she was friendly and extremely helpful in setting me up with the person she felt could best handle my situation. I then met with Emma who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in trying to find the best way to help me find a new normal. Both of these ladies were very compassionate. I highly recommend this practice.” CF
“Sometimes small nuggets of information can lead to big changes. That's what I experienced in working with Emma. In my case, there were several changes in my diet that Emma suggested that led to a positive difference in my gastro-health. For example, drink more water! Eat more of a certain kind of fruit. But in order to get to the relevant "nuggets," I needed to provide key information. In other words, I needed to share pretty personal information. If it weren't for the fact that I felt comfortable with Emma, I don't think it would have the same outcome. In short, the combination of her science background and her non-judgmental, normalizing approach contributed to a successful outcome. It's a science and an art! Emma has both. My only regret is that I didn't contact Tepper Nutrition sooner.”
